WASHINGTON, D.C. — DC Public Radio interviewed Michael Kane, Senior Associate, Crime and Justice Institute at Community Resources for Justice, and Sarah Kuck Jalbert, an Associate at Abt Associates.
The program discusses the effectiveness of lowering probation caseloads for medium to high risk offenders while adding Evidence-Based Practices. Results showed significantly lower rates of recidivism (when compared to a control group) for locations fully implementing Evidence-Based Practices.
