On July 29, Maryland state political and criminal justice leaders heard about the growth trends in their prison population over the past 10 years. The presentation, by Felicity Rose of the Crime and Justice Institute at CRJ (CJI), was part of the Justice Reinvestment Initiative being conducted by the Public Safety Performance Project of the Pew Charitable Trusts and CJI. Several media outlets were in attendance at the Maryland capital and articles can be found here and here.
